Job Summary:
Responsible for increasing sales and brand awareness with each retail partner and initiating and developing sales from new retail customers within their assigned territory by performing the following duties:

Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
Daily travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, and communicates with customers on sales floor or by phone.
Sustains a high level of customer service by performing tasks according to the client’s agenda, responding quickly to customer inquiry and other communications, troubleshooting any business related problems, and following-up with clients to ensure they are satisfied.
Displays or demonstrates product, either with sample packs or e-mails of product line. Merchandise showcases and train retail staff on products and promotional advertising.
Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
Attends trade shows, if applicable.

Three to five years related outside sales experience.
High School Diploma required.
Post secondary courses in Sales and/or Marketing an asset.
Product knowledge or jewelry industry experience is an asset.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Must be able to physically drive long distances within territories.
Comfortable traveling throughout home base area and surrounding territory to maximize travel efficiency.
Ability to speak fluent English and to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
